Roy Rogers appreciated his fans so much that he tried to respond personally to every piece of fan mail that he got.
In 1998 Roy Rogers was elected to the Country Hall of Fame. He has a lot of awards and accolades, and he has four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition to his achievements.
Roy Rogers met with Dale Evans (girl) in 1944. They became a duo and starred in many movies together. Between the years of 1944-1951 they starred in about 30 movies together. Dale Evans quickly gained the nickname "Queen of the Cowboys".
They made a show in 1951-1957 called The Roy Rogers Show which also featured Dale Evans. The song "Happy Trials" which was written by Dale Evans was used as the opening theme song for the show. Dale Evans quoted that " he was a real hero to thousands of people".
